Welcome to Bettersweet Bakehouse, owned and operated by Jeri (me) in Clinton, Utah.

Bettersweet was started in the summer of 2025 as a passion project. I love food, and fell extra in love with baking in 2024. Growing up cooking and baking with my family, it has always been something I enjoyed.

I left my career as a graphic designer at the end of 2023 to pursue food full-time. I attended Park City Culinary Institute for a few months and obtained a job at Tona Sushi Bar & Grill in Ogden. I work there part-time as a sushi chef, but baking is my true love.

I wanted to create recipes that are not sickeningly sweet, and focused on flavor (hence the name Bettersweet). I take pride in making goods that are so much better than what you would find in a grocery store and even some bakeries. I have hand-crafted most of my recipes to fit my pallet and I am so happy to share them with my customers.

I hope you enjoy everything I have created and I can’t wait to continue to experiment in the future!
